The key is to clean all your slow drains on maintenance before a back up starts. Plumbing on the other hand is different. Just cause a copper pipe turns green doesn’t mean it’s time to replace it. A bad solder job and not wiping down the pipe can result in a green pipe. Although after a long period of time a green pipe can start a leak it’s OK to wait if you know your plumbing.
